In the April 30th "Toronto Star" and interesting article was posted in the science section (located in the section: "Body and Soul" pg. F8 for those interested). For those of you who cannot get the paper, or don't want to, I've provided a picture. I think this is pretty cool. Does this mean flying cars could be commonplace by the 30's (When the earliest Tex game takes place). I guess we'll just have to find out:

New information added to AID - We're One Step Closer to the World of Tex Murphy: The First "Speeder" is Here!
New download of the week, old download archived. I've got a new poll up and running. This one is mainly for my purposes and if the response is positive, I will make the walkthroughs. I want you to know that these walkthroughs would include links to saved game files, images to help you along and solutions to every puzzle in the game. So if you want that vote yes on all or some of the games in my new poll!
Due to a missing response, the previous poll has been discounted... Well, it's April 15th again. Mean anything to you? Probably not, but you may not realize that this site opened on this very day in 1998 making today this site's 2nd anniversary. And for this day you'll notice I've done a slight site modification to make it better on lower resolutions (got rid of that thick top banner) as well as made it a bit nicer, in my opinion. There is a brand new week of CAPRICORN started and in celebration of my second anniversary, everyone receives 2 bonus points who is currently signed up and anyone who signs up during this "week" of CAPRICORN will also receive two bonus points. I would also like to make a small modification to the rules of CAPRICORN. If you sign up then you MUST and answer at least one of the games at that time or you will NOT be added. This just makes it easier for me. There is a new quote of the week submitted by Chris Marsland and I've also added The Pandora Directive Story Connections section. As well I have added Escape Part 4 to the Brew and Stew. So keep coming back to my site and I thank everyone who has visited in the past two years to make this site a success. Hopefully in my third year we'll get some good news about Tex.
Well, it has now been two years since James LeMosy made his famous April Fools Day joke, only at the time we didn't know how right he was. If you weren't here (meaning on the internet, or in the internet's Tex community) or you just want to read it again, click here.
I added a new section to the UAKM section of this website called Story Connections. This section will tell you about little known bits about the storyline of UAKM. Coming soon, a Pandora Directive Story Connections section. New quote of the week. Old quote archived. |
