Added an interesting fact to Pandora Interesting facts.
Subdirectoried the Overseer section. Fixed up a few things. Added an interview with Adrian Carr by Nick. Quote of the week is back and in a new spot. Check it out over at the right. You may notice download of the week is gone. It's just really hard to find good downloads to put there, so I got rid of it.
DV, the person who released the story about the Tex Flash episodes, has informed us on the message board that these episodes are to show us what happened after Overseer and hopefully prove to Microsoft that they should make a full blown Tex game. Sorry about the report yesterday, at the time I didn't have all the facts and it seemed far worse than it actually was. I have also received a message from another reliable source that this is "only an interim gap" so that people can find out what happened after Dalton did what he did (Just in case some of you haven't past Overseer.
Go take a look at some info at Coit Tower. Chris Marsland managed to find out exactly what two scenes that were cut from Overseer were to be used for. It's cool information. Right now you're probably getting excited. Can't wait to get Tex back. Get ready to slump down in your seat. Tex is returning all right, but only in the Flash format and on JustAdventure.com. I'm not clear on exactly how its going to work, but let me tell you, this will not be as good as a real Tex game, I just can't see how it will be possible. I thought when I found out about Tex's return (If it ever happened) I'd be more happy than this, but right now I'm no more excited about the Flash Tex than I would be about getting a root canal. I'm being dead serious here. "Why?" you ask. Because this means one thing: Chris Jones, Aaron Conners and the rest of the Access gang over at Microsoft have given up hope that Tex will ever return in a full budget, sold in stores game. Personally I'd rather Tex just be released in novel format. If you want some more information check out CARP International. In the mean time, make sure you sign Chris Marsland's petition if you haven't already, because we're going to put it into overdrive and give the Access guys proof to give Mr. Gates that Tex Murphy deserves a real game.
I've got a new e-mail address due to some problems with the old one. Hopefully this one will work out. The new address is: [email protected].
I've cleaned up Tex's Office and added a new wallpaper by Cubase. Check it out!
